WHAT HAPPENS TO INFORMATION
The next question is much more interesting:
what happens to information at the moment when it stops being merely information?
At first, it was only a description.
A set of states.
A sequence of connections.
A trace left by an object in the space of possibilities.
The Quantphone MK-I does not carry an apple across the distance.
It does something else.
It makes it possible to restore the possibility of its existence somewhere else.
At the heart of the system is information about what the apple must be: its structure, its composition, the arrangement of its elements, the state of each part.
But information itself has no weight.

Мы передали яблоко — или передали информацию, из которой яблоко снова стало возможным?
